Great office visit. I'm new to Austin and am covered under ChampVA so I was happy to find a doctor close by that accepts my insurance. The entire office staff is really nice and organized. I was super happy that the nurse was gentle so I barely felt the blood being drawn.

Dr. Edoka felt like a very honest doctor who speaks very frankly with you. I don't go to the doctor very often, but wanted to start seeing a specific doctor more consistently and Dr. Edoka didn't spend time trying to sell me on more visits or anything. He told me his opinions on doctors visits and that I should do what I feel necessary.
Overall I liked the office and staff and Dr. Edoka seemed like a really good person and doctor

Dr. Edoku takes the time to talk with and get to know you before diving into the medical issue. He also does a great job with explaining the issue that are easily understandable, rather than using medical jargon.

Dr. Edoka and his staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! Yes, my wait time was long, probably a little over an hour. However, the care received was worth it. Dr. Edoka was really helpful and consultative for my physical. Plan for a few hours for your visit.

Dr Edoka was okay, but many things about the practice were too weird for me to recommend his practice or to go back. First, I waited in the lobby for over an hour. Once I was in my room, the nurse went to draw my blood but wasn't wearing gloves/didn't wash her hands and she had fake nails. I asked why she wasn't wearing gloves. She said because she wasn't going to touch the needle directly. Then she didn't offer to wash her hands or put on gloves, she just went ahead and poked me. Huge red flags and totally against protocol of how blood should be drawn.
Dr. Edoka's bedside manner was fine, but overall I felt the entire experience was a bit strange- definitely not sanitary or sterile. At the end he told me not to leave a review if I had a bad experience and not to mention the wait time if I leave a good review. LOL

I was very comfortable with Dr . Edoka and his nurse LaTonya. Boyh took the time to talk to me, find out my history and talked to me regarding the plan to make me a healthier patient. He took time to talk to me, no rushing He is very professional and i will definitely will be back.

There was a bit of a wait at the very beginning while the woman attending the desk was away from the desk for something, but not much of a wait after I had gotten checked in. Dr. Edoka was easy to talk to, addressed all my questions, and made me feel comfortable. The nurse who took my vitals and drew blood from me was also very friendly and helpful--she made getting my blood drawn pretty painless too.

Dr. Edoka was just wonderful. His easy manner and great sense of humor made my 80-year-old Mom very comfortable on this- her first visit. He was very thorough, took his own notes (rather than relying solely on the digital chart before him), and took his time explaining things to us. A great first visit, and I expect the next will be equally productive.

The wait time to see Dr. Edoka was excessive. The longest I ever experienced. I had a 1:30 appointment, which I showed up early for to fill out forms. The Dr. came in around 3:30. No one let me know he would be late, or why. They just left me in the examining room. I did hear occassional laughter and joking in the halls, but the door remained closed. I was preparing to walk out when he finally showed up.
