Consultation
My first visit was ok, just ok. It was a bit intimidating when I walked in the back to have my blood pressure and weight checked. There was apx. ten interns just standing there looking. I sucked up my feelings because I understood they have to have hands on training.
After that I saw the Dr. along with one of his interns in the patient room. He asked me the same questions I answered online prior to my appointment and didn't elaborate. I thought I was going to receive an information packet of some sort explaining do's and don't...pregnancy tracker or something but nothing
Second appointment (next day) was my ultrasound. I just saw the ultrasound tech. I was in and out in no time.
Third appointment (today) 8/22. Was waiting for a while and then the guy at the front office told everyone in the waiting room that the Dr. is running late and he should be here at the latest..one hour. One of his patients had an emergency. I was fine with that, I had not future obligations.
I Waited patiently. Two hours later I was seen...for less than a minute. The Dr. comes in no smile and said get up on the table...I said huh? He repeated and then his intern repeated. I was a bit taken back and couldn't process his words mentally. He was cold and rude. I just waited two hours for him to arrive and never complained and now I'm being treated as if I'm a burden for staying.
I had several questions I wanted to ask ... my history w/ pre term labor, am I still considered high risk, what exercise is safe for me, the results of my blood work, am I gaining too much weight, etc...but my mind went blank and I said nothing.
He listsned to the heartbeat, didn't say how fast...he turn his back towards me and told me to sceldule my next ultrasound for 28wks so my appointment should be 4wks from Wednesday...I will only be 25wks then...what?
This was the worst experience ever!

I scheduled my appointment through zoc doc. I arrived to the appointment on time and the doors were locked. I called and no one answered. I called again and a woman with a thick accent said she thought I cancelled appointment.

I understand that emergencies happen. Instead of rushing through my pap he should have stated that he needed to leave for an emergency. I did not get to discuss the main reason for my visit. I work in the medical field and he was VERY unprofessional.

The office was really nice, staff was friendly as well. They did ask why I was there, although on this website I had specified that it was an ob-gyn appointment since I am pregnant , and was hoping to get an ultrasound. However, they told me they only have a techinician who comes in every other wednesday (bummer). But overall the staff was nice, doctor was gentle, and they did offer to do a test for me in order to find out the sex of the baby. Super excited for that!

My appointment was at 10:15am but I didn't end up leaving until 11:45am. The doctor comes in and then in walks 2 medical students. I am all for students learning but I feel like the patient needs to give consent first and foremost. He starts asking me questions about my medical history then without even getting out of his seat proceeds to tell me " there is nothing we can do for you" no ultrasound, no blood work, no pelvic exam. absolutely nothing. I drove 40 mins to see this doctor. I will not be seeing him again. I could have saved my time and gas.

This review is not for the date submitted. I also gave only 1 stars because I am truly disappointed! My appointment was made for Monday August 2, 2015 directly on the phone with Dr's Office as opposed to this site. The visit was good I was called within 15 min of my scheduled appointment time. I was seen by Dr. Soyoola who is very thorough and pleasant. However my problem came 2 days after my appointment. I was given a biopsy and told my results would be ready in 2 days.... waiting for results to find out if you have cancer or not is not the most ideal situation to be in, so when I noticed it was 10 minutes before close of business I decided to call to get my biopsy results. This receptionist was awful! She explained to me the results were not ready and does not know when it would be ready, that I could call back on Friday(2 more days), in addition she mentioned the results can sometimes take up to 2 weeks. very upset about this new information I received, I tried to explain how setting a realistic expectation for those type of results should be addressed. She basically blew me off as though it wasn't a big deal, very unapologetic for the fact that I was misinformed and not empathetic at all to my concern to say the least! I am big on customer service. If I am paying for a service there is a level of respect that should be reciprocated. Dr. Soyoola is nice but if his receptionist are not trained on how to deal with patients issues in a professional manner, it will be a bad reflection on his business on a whole. After I get my results I question ever going back!
