Dr. Feuchtbaum specializes in the treatment of orthopedic spine conditions. A graduate of Brown University and University of Virginia School of Medicine, Dr. Feuchtbaum completed his orthopedic surgery training at the nationally renowned Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He then pursued fellowship training in spine and scoliosis reconstructive surgery at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He has been published in the European Spine Journal and his research has been presented and discussed on a national level.

I have confirmed on multiple occasions my appointment to later being informed once i got there that the doc. was absent from the office for the entire day. My appointment was cancelled ten minutes prior, despite my efforts to attend, given the treacherous road conditions following the snow storm. The incompetent staff, particularly that black male, calling me rude when I voiced my concerns instead of demonstrating understanding. This behavior is unacceptable, especially considering their role in the healthcare industry.
Firstly, cancelling appointments at the last minute disrupts the schedules of many individuals who commute from far distances. Secondly, causing patients to make unnecessary trips wastes both their time and resources, as well as negatively impacts their overall well-being. Worst experience ever.

Very pleased. Dr. Feuchtbaum took the time needed to examine me, went over my x-rays, and listened closely about what I had to say about my symptoms.

Dr. Feuchtbaum mostly seemed focused on moving quickly. He did do a quick exam and looked at my MRI while I explained my problem, but gave short answers to questions and showed no interest in helping me understand the whole process. It felt like if I did not ask very targeted questions, I would not get useful information.
Issue still ongoing, so don't know how helpful his doctoring was yet.

The Dr was very curt and barely spent a couple of minutes with me to ask a couple of questions and perform a very brief exam. Quickly proceeded to order an MRI and sent me on my way out

My appointment was pretty standard. The receptionist wasn’t rude but she wasn’t the friendliest. The technician that took me to the exam room and asked me questions about my symptoms and medical history was the warmest person I interacted with, I believe his name was Tyler, so thanks Tyler! Dr. F was knowledgeable about my condition and explained everything well but the conversation seemed a little rushed to me. He wasn’t a bad doctor and he heard what I was saying it just seemed like he was ready to get to the next patient, which I understand, but being rushed or feeling rushed doesn’t always leave you with the best experience. Other than that I was in and out and I think I will be back but that’s my 1 critique.

The appointment was mostly pleasant. The office was very busy, lots of people to see various doctors. It felt like a health mill. Although Dr. Feutchbaum was pleasant and viewed my previous MRI, he seemed distracted. He answered my questions but didn't really add much to my understanding of my compression fracture, it's healing, or the associated pain. He was pleasant enough but I needed more in terms of professional expertise. It's unlikely that I will return.

Dr. Feuchtbaum and his team were very pleasant and professional. They took an x-ray of my back and ordered an MRI. He reviewed some records that I had brought with me He was thorough in his explanation of next steps. I will be scheduling my next (follow-up) appointment with him very soon.

Genuine person, intelligent explanations and compassion for my pain. Dr Feuchtbaum was wonderful about offering me minimal intervention options, though I later opted for surgery. He is, as he stated, a (rare) conservative surgeon when it comes to making surgery recommendations. Thank you for helping me through this terrible experience!
