Dr. Eric J. Schmitt graduated with honors in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine before pursuing Pediatric training at Washington University of St. Louis and Brown University. Dr. Schmitt was a practicing Pediatrician when he came to Dallas in 2002 for Allergy / Immunology fellowship training at the University of Texas, Southwestern. He provided allergy, asthma and clinical immunology specialty care for children and adults in Dallas and Frisco before bringing his Frisco Allergy & Asthma Center practice to Coppell in 2007. He is a board member and volunteer lecturer for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

Very professional and quick to determine a treatment plan for me. Didn't try to sell me on allergy shots, which haven't worked for me in the past.

Dr.Schmitts office staff were very friendly. The office was neat and clean and we probably waited a max of 10 min in the waiting room which was no problem. Dr.Schmitt was nice and VERY thorough. He has a great bedside manner,explained things to me, answered my questions and gave me a very clear treatment plan for my daughter. I'm so thankful I found him and I have a lot of confidence that he will get my baby better.
