Dr. Eric Wang was born in Houston, Texas where he proudly attended the University of Houston and received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with Magna Cum Laude in 2015. He continued in his education and attended the University of Houston College of Optometry and received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2019. Shortly after, Dr. Wang received his Therapeutic Optometric License from the Texas Board of Optometry, followed by his Optometric Glaucoma Specialist License. Dr. Wang externships included a semester rotation at Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, Texas, where he was exposed to a wide range of ocular pathology and advanced contact lens fitting including myopia control. His next site included a semester rotation at Golden Eye Clinic in Center, Texas, where he handled numerous encounters of corneal foreign body removals, minor surgical procedures, and ocular pathology for the rural population. In addition to optometry, Dr. Wang enjoys playing tennis, badminton, basketball, and billiards.
