Born in Houston, Erin Newman graduated with a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Cincinatti, is board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, the Central Texas Alliance of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and the American Nurses Association.
Erin Newman especially enjoys prenatal interviews, newborn visits, well child checks, sports physicals, sick visits, as well as seeing young people for ADHD. Over the course of her career, Erin Newman started a school based clinic in Lexington, Kentucky, has taught Pediatric Nurse Practitioner students at the University of Kentucky Nursing College, and started a Lead Poison Clinic in inner city Chicago.
Erin Newman is the president of the local chapter of ABLE (Assisting Better Living Everywhere), which is a charity started by her father in Kentucky which aims to improve living and learning conditions all around the world including right here in Austin. Her hobbies include teaching religious education classes to children, and she loves being a wife and mother to her four incredible boys who keep her hopping! She is eager to see children from all parts of Austin.
