Hey there! I’m Erwin Baird, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Next Gen Psyche and Wellness. I earned my Master’s in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Purdue University.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure where to start, you’re not alone. I work with people just like you, navigating things like anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or simply the weight of life. My approach is collaborative and holistic. I don’t just focus on symptoms — I see the whole person. We’ll work together to explore what supports your healing, whether that’s medication, mindfulness, lifestyle shifts, or just having a space where you feel truly heard.
I offer virtual sessions throughout California, and if you prefer in-person care, I also see clients weekly at my clinic in Torrance. If you’re looking for a provider who really listens, honors your story, and walks alongside you in your journey — I’d be honored to be part of your healing process.

Very grateful for this visit. He was very knowledgeable and spent the time to explain why I was feeling the way I do. Other psychiatrists I’ve seen felt a bit rushed. This did not feel that way at all. I really feel that he dedicated time to understand my situation and develop a solid game plan for me.
