He told me that for healthy young individuals a full checkup is not necessary, and since my primary motive for the appointment was filling out a school form (it was, but I was hoping to have a full checkup as well since it's been over three years since I've had one), I could leave. And I did. The wait was 1.5 hours for 3 minutes of the doctor's time. I showed up about 8 minutes before my appointment.
