Incredibly knowledgeable and caring. I will continue to see Dr
Dr. Liang was very professional and I feel I was given most of the information I was looking for. However, even aside from the long wait before being seen, there were administrative issues that detracted from the visit. First, after the examination, there was an extended wait while the office staff attempted to determine the appropriate charges, since I was paying cash for the services. They were waiting for a response from a government agency, and when it seemed that it would be a lengthy wait, I was told that they would not expect me to wait for the notification to come through, and they told me I could leave. Meanwhile, I was expecting to get an updated prescription and an appointment for a follow-up exam within a month. Neither of these were taken care of before I left. It is now the third business day after the appointment, and I am still waiting for closure on the appointment. Perhaps the fault is mine for not pursuing these while I was still at the office, but I would have expected their procedures to have ensured that the prescription and follow-up appointment would be part of the check-out procedure, even with the billing still in question. I will wait until it has been a week to give them time to catch the fact that the process is not yet complete before I nag them about it, but I fear that this has just fallen through the cracks. Not very encouraging signs on a first visit.
