Originally from the European country of Serbia, Dr. Svrdlan moved to the United States to complete her medical education and training through a three-year residency program at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Svrdlan chose internal medicine because of the patient-centered aspect of the specialty and the opportunity it gives her to create long-term relationships with her patients. She believes it embodies the very core of medicine and demands an intimate understanding of the broad medical spectrum.
Outside of the office, Dr. Svrdlan loves spending time with her family. Her other interests include playing sports, traveling, music and the arts.

This was my first contact with Dr. Svrdlan since I transferred from Dr. Kaneshige who moved to Torrance. I was pleased with the interaction and look forward to seeing her whenever I need something.

Dr Svrdlan exhibits empathy, friendliness, warmth and good communication skills. she listens carefully to my needs, and provides recommendations for anything I feel needed to be addressed. She is also forward hi king and provides advice on how to promote health keeping into consideration my cultural background and beliefs. She is friendly and warm, and has a great smile when she greets you. it's great to have a young doctor who, no matter how busy she is, still keeps up with her posture and professionalism.

Dr. Svrdlan is my new Primary Care Physician. My former PCP of many years, Dr. Peter Kaneshige, now has his practice at a MemorialCare office in Torrance. I have had two visits with Dr. Svrdlan. We went over each item on my list of concerns. She is a good listener and solved many of my concerns by referrals to the needed specialists. We had great rapport at the very start of my first appointment. I'm very fortunate to have her as my PCP!

Dr. Svrdlan is an exceptionally good physician. She listens to the patient, carefully reviews the medical record, makes her diagnosis and explains her recommendations to the patient in a way the patient can understand. She is the reason I stay with Memorial Care and particularly her office.

Dr. Svrdlan is a very thorough person who addresses all issues of concern in a thoughtful manner. She has made sure that all my conditions from cancer to cervical disk disease are taken care of in the best possible manner. I am very comfortable speaking with her about anything.
