Dr. Evetta Borden is a highly skilled and compassionate podiatrist offering over 20 years experience in foot pain treatment and foot hygiene with an emphasis in conservative care. From fungal toenail treatment and plantar wart removal to simple and advanced diabetic and foot wound care, she remains current with the latest advances in the field by attending national seminars and workshops, as well as through personal contact with leading podiatrists throughout the country. She is a published author of new research and she continues to follow and adopt new, proven advances in podiatric medicine.
In order to give her patients the best care, Dr. Borden has the resource of being a member of many professional associations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, as well as the American Association of Wound Management.
After completing a residency program at the McGuire Veteran Administration in Richmond, Virginia treating veterans, Dr. Borden was so moved at their commitment and devotion to the nation that she decided to join the reserves. She was on active duty from 1987-1991 as a member of the prestigious U.S. Army Medical Service Corps and served at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, the 121st Evacuation Hospital in Korea and Winn Army Community Hospital in Fort Stewart. …
