Dr. Evetta Borden is a highly skilled and compassionate podiatrist offering over 20 years experience in foot pain treatment and foot hygiene with an emphasis in conservative care. From fungal toenail treatment and plantar wart removal to simple and advanced diabetic and foot wound care, she remains current with the latest advances in the field by attending national seminars and workshops, as well as through personal contact with leading podiatrists throughout the country. She is a published author of new research and she continues to follow and adopt new, proven advances in podiatric medicine.
In order to give her patients the best care, Dr. Borden has the resource of being a member of many professional associations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, as well as the American Association of Wound Management.
After completing a residency program at the McGuire Veteran Administration in Richmond, Virginia treating veterans, Dr. Borden was so moved at their commitment and devotion to the nation that she decided to join the reserves. She was on active duty from 1987-1991 as a member of the prestigious U.S. Army Medical Service Corps and served at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, the 121st Evacuation Hospital in Korea and Winn Army Community Hospital in Fort Stewart.

She rushed through the whole appointment. She liked to talk about pronation and didn't ask the right questions. I went in to help my plantar faciitis and she ended up recommending I get custom orthotics. She came off rude and not empathetic. To top if off, I called my insurance and found out that they wont cover my custom orthotics but if my Dr. submits the proper documentation, they can override not covering it. So I called the office and the front desk gave me a run around which lead me to leaving a message on a machine and they never got back to me after multiple calls. The whole experience was a waste of time.

The office staff was very efficient and professional. I was in and out in 30 minutes and that included checking in, Xray of my foot, the actual appointment and then checking out.
