The atmosphere was so relaxed and ENTIRE office was EXTREMELY clean. Dr. Khan has the best bedside manners and her staff is amazing. My only regret is not finding her sooner.

Dr. Khan is the medical director of VeinGuard Heart and Vascular Center. She is a board certified cardiologist who specializes in invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular diseases. She completed her cardiovascular clinical fellowship at Washington Hospital Center after several years of research in cardiovascular disease at the the National Institutes of Health. She completed her medical residency at Columbia University after graduating summa cum laude from Dow Medical College.
She has published in peer reviewed medical journals and has been a speaker at ACC meetings. She is also an active member of The American College of Cardiology, Society of Cardiac Angiography, American Society of Echocardiography, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, Society of Cardiac CT, and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.

This is very easily the worst doctor I’ve ever seen and *one of* the worst medical office experiences I’ve ever had.
In February I had a 2:30 appointment for a cardio consult with Dr. Khan. I did not see the doctor until 5:15, at which point a PA took me back to an employee break room where Dr. Khan was snacking, lounging around, and celebrating what appeared to be an employee birthday.
When I’m finally sent to the treatment room, I wait another fifteen minutes. When the doctor arrives, she does not introduce herself (she’s still chewing). She very clearly hasn’t read my file, and she spends about 2 minutes with me before recommending an ECHO scan. She tells me the technician will arrive in 15 minutes, and there’s only 3
appointments before me (they’re super quick!) so I should be fine to wait.

This medical provider has no respect for other people’s time. Her staff is friendly and she is not. I feel that she prejudged me based on my age and did not take the time to listen to my concerns. She also left me in the waiting room for an hour and a half and when she finally acknowledged me, she was very unapologetic. No thank you.

The address on Zocdoc was incorrect as the office had moved about 15 minutes away. Once I reached the correct office, I overheard staff talking about two separate patients whose files were lost while they were in the office. The doctor’s personal office seemed to have patient files stacked where I could see them.

Dr Khan was great but her staff & office need some work. Wait time was over an hour and they brought me in again after saying they couldn’t do a virtual visit even though they could. Office was also a mess and in general the staff lacked professionalism.

The doctor had me do labs, promised to call me with results to avoid me coming to the office. We had a scheduled appointment. I never heard from her. I called the office was told the doctor would call me. I never heard from her. Thank goodness this was only my second opinion doctor.

My visit was extremely comprehensive. I met with Dr. Khan who reviewed my symptoms and history. I had an EKG, Echocardiogram and Lexiscan stress test at my first visit. While the visit was long, I appreciated all being done at one visit which prevented me from making multiple trips.
Dr. Khan was informative and pleasant as was all of her staff that I encountered. Brittany was especially helpful both before and during my appointment.
The office was beautiful and well organized. I am in the medical field myself and would highly recommend this practice for your cardiac needs!

Disorganized and slow. Their computer system does work well, so original zocdoc appointment had to be rescheduled. Once in the office, all the questions completed with the nurse did not seem to be in the file, so doc asked them all a second time.

Can't recommend enough. She was fantastic, and so was the rest of her staff. Very pleasant, and the office has comfy furniture and fun music in every room so you never feel uncomfortable. I felt so comfortable the whole time. Dr. Khan was very knowledgeable and made a great referral for a hematologist also. I will be seeing her again for sure. A 5-star rating doesn't even do her justice!! Top quality!
