Wonderful experience getting help! You CAN ABSOLUTELY tell when someone has experience and not just the degree... I, a diagnosed since 3rd grade ADHDer, just kept "leaking information", the doctor "took it all in stride"- this was refreshing- and lessened my anxiety to help my child IMMENSELY. Awareness of patient and/or parent 'forgetfulness'- or the need to be asked in a different way/different wording- HELPFUL!!

Dr. Mir is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and a graduate of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship. She completed her medical education from Dow Medical College, psychiatry residency from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, followed by Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training from University of Chicago. Dr. Mir enjoys working with all age groups. With her warm and compassionate demeanor, she strives to create an environment of trust, open communication and collaboration. Dr. Mir believes in creating customized treatment plans tailored to each patient, with a holistic view of mental health, that optimizes treatment with family involvement, academic and social supports and use of concurrent therapeutic modalities.
