This was my first visit to Dr. Hakim. I was very impressed with the expertise and efficiency of Dr. Hakim and his staff. The wait was not bad considering the history/information needed and depth of my medical issue. Dr. Hakim did a thorough exam and had the answers right away. I feel very comfortable in continuing with this practice.

Dr. Farid A. Hakim, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who has been in the Jacksonville area since 1996. His special interests include sports medicine, total joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Farid Hakim is among the first surgeons in the Jacksonville area to offer the gender knee replacement-the only knee shaped and sized to fit the female knee. He is among the few specializing in hip arthroscopy for labral tears, and femoral acetabular impingment, as well as the MIS technique for total knee and hip replacement.
Dr. Hakim is one of a select few of local orthopaedic surgeons who perform total hip replacement through an anterior approach allowing his patients to return to normal activity at an accelerated rate.
