Dr. Felipe J. Martinez's love for math and science opened the doors for his career in Medicine. Fleeing Cuba in 1962 he found it difficult to learn a new language. Luckily, the rules of equations and biology translated. He attended Belen Jesuit Prep where he formed life-long friendships.
Martinez began his college career at the University of Miami, where he graduated Cum Laude of his class. He then continued at the University of Miami's School of Medicine and completed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1982.

The staff was super unprofessional. They sent my medication to the wrong pharmacy and then expected me to clean up their mess. I had to wait 72 hours to start my antibiotics since the wrong pharmacy had to stop processing it on their end. Tbh the provider was good but the staff didn’t make it pleasant for me to go back.
