Dr. Esfandiari received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry and Spanish from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She spent two summers studying at Oxford University in England and received her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her residency training at Parkland Hospital where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.
Dr. Esfandiari believes in taking the time to listen to her patients, addressing all concerns. She believes that communication is the key to building lifelong relationships with her patients, emphasizing care and compassion. She has recently "been on the other side" going through IVF and pregnancy herself and has a whole new perspective and empathy.
She and her husband have a beautiful son and she is very excited to grow her practice in the Austin area. In her free time she enjoys conversational Spanish, travel and looks forward to exploring the outdoors in Austin.
