As a head and neck surgeon, Dr. Velez specializes in diseases that affect the thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, salivary glands, larynx, trachea and lymph nodes, including head and neck cancer. As a general surgeon, Dr. Velez specializes in hernia repair, as well as colon and gallbladder procedures.
