He received his dermatological residency training at the University of Chicago following his straight medical internship at Northwestern University Medical Center. He served as a flight surgeon in the republic of Korea Air Force after completing medical school at the Seoul National University College of Medicine.
Dr. Lee is a member of the medical staff of St. Mary's Hospital and Decatur Memorial Hospital. He has been a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology since 1971 and is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and Oncology.
An oft-consulted guest of the television and print media, Dr. Lee has also had a teaching relationship with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine for nearly two decades.
