Saw another doctor at the practice. She was patient and showed genuine concern. Definitely one of the most helpful doctors appointments I have had. Front desk employees were also very friendly. Planning on coming back for future visits and recommending to my friends and family. Rare find for allergy issues! Was also able to point me in the right direction for other health issues.

A second-generation Chinese-American born in North Carolina, Dr. Yu moved with his family to California at the age of 8. He received a bachelor’s degree in Biophysics and English Literature from UC Berkeley and a medical degree from State University of New York, Downstate. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at UCI and a subspecialty fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at UCLA’s West Los Angeles VA Hospital and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
Dr. Yu is the recipient of numerous awards and the author of several scientific papers. He has previously served as the President of the Orange County Society of Allergy and currently serves on the ad hoc Editorial Board of the Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, a leading medical journal. He is an elected Fellow of both the American Academy and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.

They were unprepared for my visit. They didn't call to confirm my appointment. I in fact had to call twice to confirm. They never followed up like they said they would. I needed a referral that the informed me of while sitting in the dr's chair.

Dr francis yu is a caring. Dr. He takes time to listen to my problem because i suffer from many rare illness. I highly recommend dr yu to any patient who needs a dr who cares and he is very knowledgable in my rare illness i have been dr francis yus patientgetting on 9 years now

His front desk/nurse/assistant was great. Very professional, friendly, attentive. She gave this office some personality as Dr. Yu is straight to business which is good since he focuses on the patient.
I also love, love the fact that he has appointment availability times.

The doctor didn't have much personality, and his staff was AWFUL, from the beginning, when making the appointment, right down to signing in, its like they didn't want to be there. Very unpleasant, I won't be back!

Dr. Yu knows his stuff, but his bedside manner and compassion for how a patient is feeling and what they are experiencing is horrible! I feel it's important for an MD to connect with their patients in a more compassionate way and with sincerity.
