My husband visited him for stomach issues and all he wanted to was get him on a Low Testosterone medication. Mind you he went in with a ridiculous beard. Never wanted to talk about his actual stomach issue, just his testosterone. My husband finally asked if he could get an MRI to make sure it wasn't something neurological (long story short this issue caused brain fog, lethargy). On his return appointment the doctor said his testosterone levels were ok but "not optimal" and never brought up the MRI. My husband had to remind him about the scans and the doctor had to go find them.
It seems he is only trying to push these Low T drugs.

I was disappointed. I made the follow up
Appt with Dr. Cardona to discuss weight loss. He told me at the first appt that he needed to do blood tests and read the results before we could speak about weight loss. I had the blood tests done and was planning on discussing a weight loss plan with him.
Boy was I surprised when I brought up losing weight and he told me that was a cash business that did not take insurance.
He then politely explained the 4 areas he focuses on weight loss. He Agreed to write a perscription for me on hormone replacement because of my complete hysterectomy and would extend my Ambien
Perscription for 90 days. He thanked me
For coming and I left.
We did talk about me having flu like symptoms and he encouraged me to drink
Sprite or 7 up.

First time visit, looking for a new PCP, This Doctor very personable, actually listened to my concerns,didn't over talk me, didn't treat my symptoms like everyone else who shared the same symptoms. I felt very comfortable with him right away. The receptionist did not treat me like a "number", she was very professional but not too professional, she was extremely pleasant and the Medical Assistant made me feel extremely at ease to share me concerns.

I think it is wonderful that a doctor sees a patient at the scheduled time. That is unheard of and I appreciate it very much. He is courteous and thorough in his explanations and gives great advice.

Of all the general doctors I have seen as an adult, I think he is the best. He is easy to talk too and very straight forward. He has even made himself available to talk to me even when I did not have an appointment. He also has a wonderful staff that go out of their way to make my visits pleasant. I highly recommend him.
