Francisco L. Chacon, O.D. earned his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of New Mexico and his Doctorate degree from Pacific University, College of Optometry, where he was a member of the prestigious honor, Beta-Sigma Kappa. Dr. Chacon completed externships in several different modes of practice. He gained valuable experience working at some of the nations preeminent vision therapy practices, as well as participating in ocular disease management at Norton Sound Indian Health Hospital in Nome, Alaska. Dr. Chacon performs comprehensive eye examinations and enjoys seeing patients of all ages and needs. He has a wide variety of experience in ocular disease, pediatric optometry and contact lenses. "I have always been fascinated with vision and what it brings to our lives; and I will always be grateful that I am able to enhance and preserve this quality of life for so many people." In his spare time, Dr. Chacon enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two young children. He also likes fishing, hiking and biking.
