After obtaining a Master of Biotechnology degree at the University of Pennsylvania, he received his degree in Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Medicine & Dentistry in Stratford, NJ. Dr. Lien performed his residency in Family Medicine at Morristown Medical Center where he attained the title of Chief Resident. Dr. Lien speaks English, Mandarin and Taiwanese. He is Board-certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Lien believes in the importance of health literacy and understanding for his patients. “When people feel empowered about their health, they find it easier to do things that will help them stay well”, said Dr. Lien. “This is particularly true for patients with chronic problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol. These are conditions where diet and exercise can really make a difference and knowing what to do produces positive results.”
