Dr. Akers was kind, patient, and polite as well as professional and more than competent. He took time to examine and explain thoroughly before making a referral to another doctor. His staff was similar, addressing me immediately upon entering-even offering coffee, tea, or bottled water. The office was tastefully, neatly, and comfortably decorated. Overall, I was extremely pleased and would recommend him to anyone.

For forty years in Mesa, AZ, Doctor Frank McAllister Akers and his staff have and continue to provide a wide variety of optometry services for both children and adults in Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale and Apache Junction.
From eye exams and eye glasses to multi focal contact lenses, Dr. Akers is here to take care of all your eye sight need.We offer brands such as Gucci, Fendi, Phillipe Charriol, Rayban, Arnette, Juicy Couture, Armani, BCBG, Christian Dior, and Dolce & Gabana.
As part of our proactive approach to your visual health we recommend that you schedule an eye exam with Dr. Akers at least once every year so that he can help provide you with the tools necessary to keep your eye sight healthy for a lifetime.
Along with offering free parking at our facility we also offer Varilux Progressives lenses, Multi focal contact lenses, Gentle Molding, Ortho-k, Contacts for astigmatism, thin and light lenses, Sunglasses Polarized lenses, Transitions, Daily Disposable contacts.
When Dr. Akers is not in the office he enjoys being with his wonderful family. Corinne his wife of 15 years, Allister his oldest, Grayson number 2 son, and his princess, daughter Selah. The family is active and loves going to church.
Corinne and Dr Akers are in charge of Calvary Kids on Wednesday nights at their church Calvary Chapel of Apache Junction. Dr. Akers also races and rides dirt bikes with his Allister and belong to the Rockstars Motorcycle club, a club dedicated to protecting the AZ desert and keeping trails open for everyone to enjoy.
