Dr. Cohen saw me immediately and I was even a few minutes late. He was incredibly kind and I even got light headed after the anesthesia and he was very patient with me and helped calm me down. I was in and out of there very quickly and he made me feel safe and comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a surgeon. He also made sure to explain to me exactly what was happening during the procedure. Great doctor!

What a waste of time. Rude receptionists. Called in the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. Never called me back with lab results. Had the nerve to try and charge for cancelling my follow-up appointment after I realized I didn't want to be treated there. Just an awful experience. The doctor was nice though.

I saw Dr. Cohen for a hernia consultaion. He assured me it was an easy procedure and that after surgery I can play tennis and go to work the next day. A couple of weeks later, I had the surgery. Went in at 9am and left at 3pm, after prep, surgery, and recovery. Dr. Cohen's bedside manner was great. It's a week after surgery and I feel wonderful, all thanks to Dr. Cohen.

Biggest regret of my life.
Dr. Cohen led me to believe I would be "back in action" only weeks after the procedure, and now 3 months later, I'm still unable to perform activities that I was able to perform prior to the surgery, e.g. sit-ups.
His bedside manner was unprofessional and insensitive, telling me things like "your insides were beat up" and "I had to get in there with my hands" - something no patient of a laparoscopic procedure should ever, ever hear.
Rather than an apology or explanation for the unsightly abdominal seroma I now have as a result of the roughly handled procedure (by his own admission), he told me it was my body's fault, and spending less than 5 minutes with me in my follow-up, told me to simply give it another 6 months. I would have appreciated a deeper explanation as to what was happening with my body and how to mitigate the negative after-effects of the surgery.
The purpose of my hernia repair procedure was to be able to live my active lifestyle, but the exact opposite effect was achieved.
I would not recommend this surgeon.
