Dr. Franz Gliedere is a great pain management doctor. He really took the time to understand my chronic back pain and offered a treatment plan that actually helped reduce my discomfort without just pushing pills. His explanations were clear and he made me feel comfortable during the visit. I would definitely recommend him to anyone dealing with ongoing pain issues.

I was recently with Dr. Franz for Sciatica and some problems w my lumbar. thankfully there was no wait when I came in, Dr. Franz thoroughly explained everything and I am so grateful to have seen him. I been to other pain doctors and none of them seem to have the depth of knowledge of care that this one does.

I went to this doctor because his other reviews said he does epidural injections and turns out he does not. Office was very unprofessional and unprepared, they did not reach out beforehand to request prior imaging or medical records. The doctor himself made me feel rushed and kept interrupting me as I tried to express my concerns.

I waited 90 minutes to be seen. I heard the doctor arguing with the x-ray tech outside my room, and the doctor was very condescending. The nurse was great, and tried making excuses for him, so I appreciate that professionalism

I made an appt via Zocdoc on Weds for Fri. The office called on Thurs to confirm my appt, which I did. Then called me again on Fri AM to confirm my appt “from 11:30-11:45”. I told them I confirmed over the phone yesterday & asked if the appt was only 15 mins? They said oh no, we can’t say how long ur appt will be, it depends what you’re being seen for. I drove an hour to the office in Playa Vista from my home. When I arrived they announced my appointment would be a telemed appt…I asked why did I drive in for a tele-appt. The office asst seemed apologetic & said “that’s a good question” & referred me to her boss, the “office mgr” who spoke in a condescending manner about how I “wouldn’t understand the language” for why I needed to come in. I agreed to the appt since I was already there then suddenly she mentioned they had an avail at 2pm to be seen in person. I said no I’d rather have my 11am. They proceeded to lie for over two hours to get me to stay & wait in the exam room until 2pm.

Dr Glieder is an amazing doctor, he knows what he is doing. Undoubtedly the best pain doctor ive been to and i've gone to about 4 different pain docs in the past 2 years with none of them knowing as much as him.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Franz and got cortisone shots for my back pain. If you are in pain I recommend him, very good bedside manner aswell.

Dr. Gliederer is the only pain doctor that i've gone to where I wanna come back. He has a way with explaining your condition/issues to you without being condescending and answering your questions/follow up questions. I had a problem with my spine/back post accident and he basically removed the pain for me. I feel so much better.

Doctor spent his time to explain everything to me and administered my treatment for my nerve. I've never had a doctor that actually cares enough about a patient to spend that much of their time answering questions while also being a magician with treating me.

i went in with bad neck pain that was really wearing me down and dr franz gliederer saw me after just a 10 minute wait. he listened carefully, explained everything in a way that made sense, and got me on a plan that actually helped ease the pain so i could get back to normal days with my family without feeling so limited anymore. i highly recommend him.

I had a great experience with this doctor. Dr. Franz actually cared about me and I am a black man, he doesnt try to push pills/procedures he actually thinks and cares about his patients. He never violated me like other doctors and he really listeng to the problems i got and devised a good treatment plnan w my insurance.

Okay I am gonna try to be as honest as possible.
the wait time was initially not great, but Dr. Franz is a great doctor. Very kind, he actually cared about my problems and wasn't just there for any other reason. I was diagnosed by him and we did a pain rating. My Back pain got better after his treatment in the first day, I haven't had any problems so far. I have a follow up soon and I am so thankful..

Generally was a great experience with Dr. Gliederer. I have had backl pain for a few years that went untreated and finally decided to get some professional to take a look, what was perfect is the Dr accepted my insurance which I was surprised about.
I was evaluated by Dr Franz and I rated my pain 7/10 since it was bugging me so much, he did a non invasive treatment w injection on me and it mad me feel so much better.
office room is also nice and waiting room had drinks. Good experience imo and thank you to Dr. Franz for that!

Okay so Dr. Franz is a great doctor. Unironically one of the best pain doctors i've dealt with in years (and i've dealth with A TON) of pain doctors.
He actually listens. Not the fake BS kind of listening from other doctors, but the kind where he asks thoughtful follow-up questions, remembers details from previous visits, and truly seems invested in figuring out what’s going on. His knowledge of pain management is extensive, and he combines that expertise with real compassion. He explained my options clearly without talking down to me, adjusted my treatment plan based on how I was actually feeling (not just what the numbers said), and gave me realistic hope without false promises.
I was put on a treatment plan w injections I really liked the epidural injection I got from him. It feels like a miracle pill. I have seen a measurable improvement in my day-day life.
I finally feel like I have a partner in this instead of just another gatekeeper. I am so grateful to Dr. Gliederer

YOU HAVE TO GO TO DR FRANZ and why. I been suffering from severe lower back pain for three years since 2022. The pain was so bad I could barely walk more than a 2minutes without shooting pain down my leg. I saw multiple doctors in West LA but they rushed me and made me feel like I was exaggerating.Franz was completely different. When he reviewed my MRI he pointed out the LARGE HERNIATED DISC AT L5-S1 with significant compression. He recommended TWO EPIDURAL INJECTIONS. He took his time explaining everything and answered my questions with patience and care. The staff was wonderful too. A knowledgeable PA sat w me before both and made sure I was comfortable.After the second epidural difference was night/day. I went from pain medication daily and not sleeping to walking good, driving without discomfort, and playing with my kids again. I AM SO THANKFUL for Dr Franz. He treated me with real respect and compassion. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO TO DR FRANZ. He is the BEST pain doctor I seen.

dr franz is the best doctor i have ever been to. im a Black Woman and hes the only doctor i ever felt truly comfortable around. he treats everyone with real respect and understanding no matter who you are. after my bad sports injury messed up my lumbar he actually cared and listened to me. thanks to him im back on my feet and moving good again. highly recommend him to anyone

I came here after a back injury. I cannot recommend Dr. Gildierere enough, I was given a comprehensive evaluation for my pain and I rated it 1-10. Following this I was treated by the doctor w a pain procedure and I feel so much better.

Reception never informed me about cancellations. I understand needing to reschedule but the fact that it was back to back without any warning and having me waste time to go to the location just to be told the doctor wasn’t available was inconsiderate. Would not revisit nor recommend.
