Dr. Roberts was born and raised in Michigan. After a tour in the US Navy, he attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Deciding to further his education he went to medical school at the University of New England earning his medical degree. After graduation he did a one year rotating hospital internship and a three year residency in Dermatology. He then became board certified in Dermatology. He opened his practice in 1992 and has been in practice continuously in Lapeer since then. The focus of the practice is general dermatology. All skin, hair and nail disorders are treated. Due to the need for dermatology in the rural areas of the ‘thumb’ of Michigan, Dr. Roberts also offers office hours in Caro, Sandusky and Bad Axe. Roberts Dermatology offers many cosmetic services all performed by licensed professionals under the direction of Dr. Roberts. Dr. Roberts and his family enjoy residing in the Lapeer area and are active in the community serving and supporting various organizations.

Dr Roberts was very thorough and explained everything he was doing and why. He genuinely care about the patient. Nurse Dani was very helpful and knows just what to do to help the Dr and the patient.
I was probably not in right area. Was definitely the only of my kind in there. The staff at the desk, she was on phone whole time i was standing there for like almost 10 minutes with my baby in stroller. The dr , it was just like a “whatever” feeling he gave off for what i wanted help with on my face . Would not recommend to MY friends or family honestly .
