I came in for upper back pain and muscle spasm. Gail realized the issue immediately and began treatment. After the first session I felt immediate relief. After the 4th session my pain had been eliminated. I was impressed with her knowledge of the human nervous systems and trigger points. My overall experience was that Gail was professional, knowledgeable and educational in understand my issue.

Gail is an extremely informative and passionate healer. Gail took the time to explain to me the background and purpose of the different acupuncture points. It was a very good experience receiving acupuncture from Gail Esh.

Gail completed her Masters degree at ACTCM in San Francisco followed by the study program at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou, China.
Originally from Toronto, Ont. Gail has been in the Bay area since 2006. She was drawn to the area by her love of the outdoor activities the Bay area has to offer. She is an avid mountain and ocean sports enthusiast and is thrilled to be practicing Chinese Medicine in San Francisco.
An entrepreneur with a successful consulting business, Gail switched career paths to study and practice Chinese Medicine after receiving a seemingly miraculous acupuncture treatment that completely alleviated the debilitating knee and back pain she had been experiencing.
Combining her love of sports and Chinese Medicine, Gail specializes in sports injuries and orthopedics, with an avid interest in fertility issues that Chinese medicine has great success in treating.

As a fellow acupuncturist, I'm selective about who treats me. I choose Gail. She is lovely to interact with and has solid tongue and pulse diagnosis skills. I asked Gail to help boost my energy and she gave an impressive back treatment. I felt energized and I slept deeply that night. I'm looking forward to my next treatment with her.
