In 1999 Dr. Goykhman finished New York college of Podiatric Medicine and proceeded to a surgical Program in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Goykhman since, has been in Miami Institute for Joint Reconstruction performing complex surgeries including reconstruction of foot and ankle, trauma, arthroscopy, and diabetic foot repair. Other interests include malunions, nonunions, bone infections, charcot deformities, as well as bunions and hammertoes. Scheduled an appt with Goykhman as a new patient because I was in pain and my usual podiatrist at UM was out of office. Wait time was reasonable and the Dr had a nice bedside manner.
At check out, I was told by his office staff that another office (didn't provide name or details) would call me within 4 days to schedule an appointment for custom orthotics. No such call was ever received by me. It has been almost 2 weeks since my appointment, so I called Goykhman's office today to ask why I had not heard back and none of them had any idea of what they told me. They had no record of what the Dr asked them to do or why they didn't just give me the prescription to do it myself. I was given no information as to how to do any of the follow up myself at the time of my appointment. They assured me that all I needed to do was wait for a call that they would arrange on my behalf.
So, basically they wasted 2 weeks of my time, I'm still in pain, nothing was resolved and now I have to see another podiatrist to start this process over because Goykhman's office dropped the ball. Would not recommend or return to this office due to the disorganized staff.
Will be returning to my original podiatrist at UM because they have never left me hanging like this.

Would not return to this office. The office was not organized. They had no record of my appt. or any of my online forms I submitted earlier. I had to fill in all new ones. I waited almost 45 mins before being seen. Dr. Was with me less than 5 mins.
