Dr. Gary Kugler obtained his pre-medical education at San Diego State University and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Kugler completed his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at VA Medical Center and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. After residency, Dr. Kugler was commissioned as an officer and served as a staff podiatric physician and surgeon in the United States Air Force. While at Andrews Air Force Base, Dr. Kugler provided podiatric medical and surgical services to active-duty military, retirees and their families. During his time on active-duty, Dr. Kugler earned numerous awards, including the U.S. Air Force Medal of Commendation.
Dr. Kugler is on the medical staff of Inova Loudoun Hospital. At Lansdowne Foot & Ankle Center, Dr. Kugler provides podiatric medical and surgical care for both adults and children. He also performs much of his out-patient surgery at Inova Loudoun Surgery Center, where he is also a partner and part owner, and at Inova Loudoun Hospital.
