Loved him!! This was my first time to see him and I felt very comfortable. He has a great bedside manner and is very friendly. He sat down and fully explained everything to me. He answered all my questions without making me feel rushed.

Gavin N. Wagenheim, MD was raised in Houston, TX after moving from Johanessburg, South Africa in 1987. He attended Bellaire High school and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He returned to Houston for his medical training at the University of Texas medical school. He then completed his General Surgery Internship and Urology Residency at the University of Texas at Houston and MD Anderson cancer center, where he served as chief resident from 2015-2016. Dr. Wagenheim has published numerous articles and authored book chapters on both benign and oncologic Urologic disease.

Dr. Wagenheim has received extensive training in Urologic prosthetic implantation for erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence, as well as in cutting edge techniques such as Interstim© for voiding dysfunction and Urolift© for BPH.
Dr. Wagenheim performs robot assisted laparoscopic urologic surgery for all urological conditions including kidney, bladder and prostate cancer using the state of the art Da Vinci robot by Intuitive (www.davincisurgery.com). This tool assists the surgeon to perform surgery with benefits such as:

The office staff is really nice and although they do tend to run behind, I never feel rushed while I'm with the doctor. As a side note, I've been late to my appointment due to unforeseen events and they have NEVER turned me away. This may push some appointments behind, but the fact that they understand and want to work with you speaks volume!!! Highly Recommend.
