I think Dr. Zebro is a perfectly competent and no-nonsense professional at what he does (readers: psychiatrists deal with the pharmacology of the mind -- if you want talk therapy/CBT, that's a psychologist). I especially like that he is willing to talk about the medicines, how they work, and how they interact -- I like to get into technical conversations about that. However, I have had multiple miscommunications and mix-ups with the front desk involving payment and medication questions. Part of my issue is panic disorder, so I can't deal with that. If you can, though, there's a perfectly good psychiatrist in the room behind that desk!
Dr. Zebro has been very compassionate. He explained aspects of my medicine and physiology with which I was unfamiliar (and I'm pretty well-read in medicine for someone who doesn't work in science), and he was observant of things I said that I hadn't noticed or thought would be relevant. I came in originally looking to change medications and get a professional opinion from someone instead of feeling as if I am the one telling them what to prescribe to me. I believe that I will be sticking around to manage my anxiety medication and also to work on my summertime sleeplessness. Point of information: I have seen some reviews claiming that he just pushes medications. Dr. Zebro is a psychiatrist (one who works with the medical aspects of mental health), not a psychologist or psychotherapist (ones who work on the behavioral aspects of mental health).

Perfect doctor to go to if you just want a prescription. If you want help, go elsewhere. Office staff is excellent!
Physician took his time to understand my needs and answer questions. Office staff was friendly and accomodating.
Very helpful. I like that he is working with me on getting the medicine right and me back to some what normal.
Love that he is available on the weekends. He is also good about moving things around to fit you personally.
One of the worst bedside manners I've experienced. I won't be returning. Very gruff and aprupt.
I had an amazing doctor very inteligent and helpfull i highly recomend him for other people.
The administrative staff at this office has greatly improved since I started going here.
I believe is very good waiting time is reachable person is respectful and kind.
Doesn't listen to your concerns, just prescribes stronger adhd meds every time

He was insensitive and dismissive

Dr. Zebro was thorough and professional.
Does not engender trust.
Fabulous service. I HIGHLY recommend!!
I love Dr. Zebro! He's quick, to the point and you're in and out which I appreciate as I usually schedule my appointments in the morning before work.
Excellent!
Very caring about what your going through
I sent him this e-mail directly after my appointment. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. There is a reason that he has so much availability... Dear Dr. Zebro, I just wanted to express my disappointment in my meeting with you yesterday. None of my concerns were addressed, and quite frankly, I find it absurd that my insurance will be charged for that visit. You were not compassionate, warm, or even remotely understanding. You approached me with nothing but skepticism - even though I openly offered to forward you all of the documents that you needed from my end. I left my job early to get to your office on time, and will be working late tonight just to catch-up on my workload. This will come as no surprise, but I will not be visiting your practice again. I read the negative reviews online but decided to give you a chance, anyway - something that I now deeply regret. I hope this letter will help alert you to the fact that patients prefer compassionate medical professionals, who ask questions, listen, and don't rush them off topics. Especially when it comes to mental/emotional wellness. "
I see Dr. Zebro getting some poor reviews for his bedside manner, and I honestly have not experienced any of that. Like so many of his other patients, I came to Dr. Zebro in a time of urgent emotional distress. I felt like he was very respectful of my concerns and incredibly kind. In all my successive follow-up visits, Dr. Zebro has referenced the specifics of my case and was very careful to ask all the right questions to give me the best care I could ask for. The ONLY difficulties that I had were with reception during my first visit - I had an out-of-state driver's license and they wouldn't accept it as valid id. Somewhat frustrating and got us started off on the wrong foot. Since then, however, every subsequent visit has been smooth and pleasant.
Dr. Zebro seems like a kind man, and has a very gentle manner. He listened patiently, had a lot of ideas for solutions, and even tried to make me laugh. I feel very satisfied with the appointment. The only downside is that I waited about 40 minutes to be seen, but another woman in the lobby told me that is unusual. The receptionist also told me that they don't actually receive any info from ZocDoc (sorry I spent so long filling out forms online). RegardIess, I will definitely be back to try again.
My only other visit with a psychiatrist left me nervous about seeing one again. Dr. Zerbro is reserved, speaks calmly, and is tolerant of questions. I was very comfortable speaking with him and never felt like I was being rushed. I had some difficulty with his accent but he was patient in repeating himself. I scheduled a two week followup without reservation.
Dr. Zebro is by far the worst physician I have ever seen. "Bedside manner" in nonexistent in his office. I saw him in a time of great difficulty and he expressed zero concern. It was a very short appointment and most of it consisted of me explaining my history multiple times. I left his office in tears. I expressed concern that I was unable to cope with events occurring in my life and was not confident I could function without receiving treatment. When a patient has grave concerns about his or her current state, a psychiatrist is expected to express compassion and treat the patient. He told me there was nothing he could do without my medical records. I was very distraught because I was not told this prior to the appointment and did not feel I could function until the time I would be able to retrieve and provide him with documentation.
Very unhappy with this doctor. I will not return. Not what he is advertised to be. Probably the reason he has so many available appointments.
Excellent instant rapport.
i didn't liked that the Big Pharma rep. had the chance to see the doctor before me and took like 20 minutes of his time. He gave me 5 Minutes btw.... so no I doubt I will be back there
He does not hear you out they are a money Hungary office. The nurses are fine but the doctor is a Joke. I would tell any and every one to Run as fast as you can if you see this doctor coming your way.
The visit went well I unfortunately was not able to get what I needed done without having to see someone else prior to me having to go back to him again this bothered me as I felt that this would be repetitive but all in all I felt that dr. zebro visit went well and my initial impression was ok
I booked a new patient appointment to see Dr. Zebro as my last physician no longer accepted my insurance. He was very condescending and apathetic. Although I was there for a behavioral health assessment, he did not bother to ask any personal questions about me or my circumstances let alone my treatment history before making a snap judgment about me. He insinuated that I was using my current medication incorrectly (I have ADHD) and that I should not need to use the medication as an adult because after children develop, "there is nothing new that they need to learn." His assumptions, statements, and behavior towards me were completely unprofessional. I have never been treated in such a manner by someone who is supposed to have an education in psychiatry and at least some capability for empathy and respect. Please do not see this Dr. unless you would like to walk out of his office feeling worse than you went in.
Horrible, didn't listen to me at all.
Dr Zebro has excellent bedside manner and is very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him and his services to my friends.
Worst doctor I've ever been to. Terrible bedside manner. Was hard to understand him, and he could barely understand what I was saying. I had to repeat everything multiple times in different types of sentence structures. I studied languages/ linguistics in college, so I understand the challenges and would never just say this without having a really good reason. He was incredibly unprofessional and rude. He was also very very unprepared for my appoinment. He seemed to only be seeing patients to make a living, and he also showed no enthusiasm/joy for his job. I don't expect much, but he showed no concern whatsoever for my well being. I've never written a bad review for anyone or even a restaurant, but I felt this review was extremely necessary. DO NOT GO HERE!
The online appoinment through zocdoc did not Work so I had to wait an extra hour and fill out all the forms again. Call the office first.
The visit was excellent.
It's not easy to get Psychiatrists on many health plans.... there are not many choices. Many do not accept new patients. But Dr. Zebro does... and he has large open gaps in his schedule. Why is that? The answer is.... he's pretty bad, He's more interested in lecturing you on why you need to come back more often than in helping you. He even sent a bizarre letter to all his patients who had not come in for awhile. The letter first claimed that all had missed an appointment, and that you might be billed for it... and ended with basically divorcing you as a patient because of notional liability reasons -- which is ridiculous. He's also not easy to understand. I tolerated him for awhile as it's easy to get on his schedule in the same week. But... there's a reason it's easy.
