After getting a really bad ear infection while visiting Hong Kong (16 hour flight ~ returning on a Friday Night) I was able to set up an appointment through Zocdoc and visit Dr. Trenkle Monday afternoon!

Found out about Dr. Trenkle via ZocDoc. The reason I went to him was because a reviewer had said he was very thorough I am a singer so an ENT that takes his time to diagnose a problem is very important to me. I went to see the doctor and the review was totally right. Not only was the doctor extremely thorough but he also told me so much helpful information about vocal health that I have never learned in my 9+ years of learning about the voice and seeing various ENTs. I would definitely recommend ! Also his assistant was extremely helpful and information !

Dr. Trenkle is a native of Southern California and grew up in Redlands, California. After attending medical school at Western University of Health Sciences he moved to Michigan to train in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at Michigan State University through St. John Providence Health System. During his time in Michigan he served both as Chief Intern in his first year and Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Trenkle is now Board Certified in Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic Surgery through Michigan State University. Dr. Trenkle has trained with some of the most prestigious names in Otolaryngology. He has traveled across the country to train under the best minds Pediatric Otolaryngology (Dr. Robin Cotton), Neurotology (Dr. Seilesh Babu), Laryngology (Dr. Clark Rosen) and Head & Neck Surgery (Dr. Stephen Freeman) to ensure he brings a quality to Southern California that is unmatched.
He also won awards at national conferences for his research in Neurotology. Dr. Trenkle prides himself on complete patient care and being in touch with his patients and their families. He comes from a long line of physicians and understands the need for a long lasting relationship between patient and doctor.

Dr. Trenkle was extremely thorough in his time spent with me. I felt well cared for and my thoughts and concerns were addressed without judgement and with clarity. Dr. Trenkle and his staff were VERY accomodating with my busy grad school schedule, and took the time to figure out when would be the optimal time to schedule my surgery. I am very pleased with the care and compassion I received with this office!

I have to say, this is the first time I've gone into see an ENT doctor that I felt was on my wave length of thinking! The first words out of his mouth was NOT "oh you have to have surgery".....no, this office is thinking outside of the box!
