Had a tough time with the staff both in scheduling and in getting my tests done. Long wait time with a few frustrated elderly patients in the waiting room who weren’t being helped. Dr. Fournier himself was very thorough and competent.

The founder of Ft. Lauderdale Eye Associates, Harvard and John Hopkins trained.
As the Founder of Ft. Lauderdale Eye Associates, Dr. Fournier’s vision has been to create a place of excellence, where the patient’s interests are always foremost and compassion for each of his patients is never lost. After 20 years in private practice he has been able to attract like minded people to help maintain these goals.
His passion for world travel, scuba diving and cycling, gives Dr. Fournier a well rounded and honest perspective on life. A father of three children in college, an avid movie goer and a student himself of foreign languages, including French and Russian, he is up to date and able to communicate with patients of all ages and interests.
He understands the importance of educating his patients about all available options and with that knowledge encourages his patients to take an active role in any decisions about their health.

My experience was not good. When I arrived the receptionist ignored me waiting at her window for the first 5 minutes. Then she finally acknowledged me and asked for my insurance and drivers license. I went and filled it out and returned it to her. After that I was in the waiting room for over two hours at which point the receptionist came to me and gave me paper work to fill out. The doctor I originally booked was not available so I got a different doctor who I will say was very nice and helpful but the office staff here is the problem.
Weeks after my appointment I received a call about my insurance and I've been trying to call back to clarify what problems and to pay a bill but no one will answer their phones or call me back.
Which also reminds me the doctor sent CVS a couple prescriptions and CVS needed more information from the doctor. CVS couldn't get a hold of them after 3 attempts I called also and couldn't get ahold of anyone.
Please work on getting more responsive staff

Very polite front of house staff. Fatidy did my tests and was wonderful - knowledgeable, pleasant, a good teacher. The testing took awhile, but I felt that it was very thorough. Dr. Fournier was friendly and professional. Had a very good experience all the way around. Feel very confident in their findings.

The office/eyeglass store is much nicer than you think it would be from the street. I was quite surprised when the elevator door opened.
The receptionist Nancy is very friendly as well as everybody else I came in contact with there. I had checked in online, but there was a lot more paperwork to fill out with much of the same information I had already given which was a little irritating, but not the end of the world. He friendliness made up for it. :)
Dr. Fournier is also quite a nice guy and seemed very knowledgeable about what my problem was and what options I had explaining each one in detail. I didn't feel like he was rushing to get to the next patient so he can make more money like you feel sometimes with doctors.
I left the office feeling really good about the whole experience.

I had to wait quite a long time in the waiting room prior to being seen. After being taken into exam room everything was efficient and timely. Staff is very professional. Exams were performed proficiently and result explained well. Dr Fournier is very kind and takes time to explain things to you. Overall very satisfied and would recommend.

Filled out new patient forms ahead of time. Was taken in by technician right away & saw Dr. Fournier after tests were done. Everyone was friendly & professional. Explanations were given & my questions were answered. My husband & I were shown a video about cataract surgery. Have future appts. for refraction studies to determine what type of procedure will be best for me & to meet the Dr who does the cataract surgery. Very impressed.

I chose this doctor in large part due to the connection with ZocDoc. I was able to make the appointment on-line, as well as fill out a lengthy health record electronically. Unfortunately, neither of those connections worked properly, and I was told that the appointment was not available at the time I booked (they were able to accommodate which I appreciate), and the entire health record had to be filled out again in writing (which was frustrating). In terms of the doctor and staff, all were excellent and professional. I will go back.
