George C. Hsieh (pronounced “shay”), M.D. is a board certified dermatologist with a special interest in the aging skin. A caring physician with stellar academic credentials, Dr. Hsieh was a full scholarship recipient for both undergraduate and medical school. He received his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley and his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Hsieh went on to complete an Immunology Research Fellowship and a clinical research project on Melanoma. His residency training in dermatology was completed at the UC Davis Medical Center.
Dr. Hsieh focuses on the care of aging skin including skin cancer prevention, detection and treatment. In addition, Dr. Hsieh performs a vast array of cosmetic treatments and procedures. Other clinical interests of Dr. Hsieh’s include eczema, psoriasis and acne. Dr. Hsieh emphasizes listening to patients’ concerns and building a trusting doctor–patient relationship. He also believes in educating his patients so that they are able to make the best informed decisions regarding their treatment options.
When Dr. Hsieh is not practicing medicine, he enjoys running and playing basketball. He is also a huge fan of the Cal Bears and the 49ers.
