My son and I were very satisfied with our experience as a new patient. Dr. Skandamis provided the necessary education about his condition and devised a treatment plan to follow. An easy going, yet thorough practitioner who made my son feel at ease and comfortable asking questions. The office staff were friendly and helpful. Our wait was longer than expected, but that could have been due to a back-up with prior patients. Definitely would recommend to others!

The wait was a bit long, but overall I had a great experience and would go back. I really appreciated being able to get in same day as a new patient and get my painful acne flare up treated... a day later and it's practically gone. :)

Dr. George Skandamis is a Board Certified Dermatologist and co-founder of Universal Dermatology and Vein Care. He received his Medical Degree from The University of Toledo College of Medicine and was awarded Alpha Omega Alpha Honors for being among the top of his class. He then completed his Internship and Dermatology Residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
As a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, he has been working in Columbus, Ohio for the past 5 years. Dr. Skandamis specializes in all areas of Dermatology including general medical Dermatology, cosmetic Dermatology, Dermatologic surgery, and laser surgery.
Dr. Skandamis has extensive training in the use of Botox®, and cosmetic fillers such as, Juvederm®, Perlane®, Restylane®, and Radiesse®. He is also a well recognized expert in various laser based cosmetic therapies including tattoo removal, rosacea treatment, and use of fractionated Carbon Dioxide resurfacing for treatment of wrinkles and acne scarring.

Dr. G S is nice but he seemed to me more of cosmetic product seller than a patient listener. His assistant listened all and noted before he came. Dr didn't even seat beside to listen to me. He seemed to be in hurry and rushed with his products' marketing.
I am fine with marketing as long as his prescribed products and medicines resolve my issues. Thank you!

Steer clear. This "Doctor" destroyed my face with a botched laser procedure. He admittedly jacked up the settings and left me with extensive damage of the dermis, which makes itself known in the laser track marks, rough dry texture, and lines all over my face. Do not do a laser. Do your research. Google laser damage. These doctors will try to dismiss it. One laser and my quality of life has been severely compromised. Take heed.
