I have struggled for a lifetime with trying to get my best vision with contact lenses and glasses. I’m an active person, and in particular like to be involved in watersports a lot. I wanted to be able to just wake up in the morning and see. I did a lot of research about Lasik, and talked to a good friend about her experience with Lasik at Dr. Walman’s office, and I finally decided that I should at least come in to the office for a free consultation to see if I was even a candidate for Lasik.
I really felt comfortable during my consult; Dr. Walman and his staff were gentle and reassuring, and treated me like a real person instead of a number in an assembly line. I made the decision to proceed with my Lasik procedure.
The experience during the procedure was better than I expected. Of course I was initially afraid, but Dr. Walman & his staff seemed to go out of their way to make me comfortable. Before I knew it, the Lasik procedure was done. I went home to sleep for the next 6 hours, and when I awoke, I was amazed at how well I was seeing.
Now I can wake up in the morning and see – without being burdened by contacts or glasses. My only regret was that it took me so long to go through with it. Thank you Dr Walman and team!

Waited in the lobby 45 minutes before starting the appointment. Appointment as a whole took 1 hour and 45 minutes; longest I've appointment I've ever had. Saw the doctor for 5 minutes and he barely addressed the reason for my visit (eye emergency). I will not be returning. I was unimpressed with his professionalism and how he handled my unique situation. Was not sensitive to the fact I was in a lot of pain.

Dr walmam is very up to date in technology and his manners . His staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. You don't have time to sit and be bored. You are tested, checked and measured before the doctor comes in then he can spend all his time with you. Talking and explaining what was found and how it can be made a lot better for you if needed.

Staff very unprofessional ,long wait for appt. Informed on day of appt. that they couldn't contact me stating my phone was disconnected, which it has never been. Also tried to cancel my appt. stating that they couldn't contact my Ins. carrier this website states they dealt w/my particular Ins..-I called and was able to contact a person. Saw DR late!!, after asking how much longer it would take! No apologies from staff or DR exam very matter-of-fact. DR sat me in a chair to wait for glasses, person had left early for the day!!, after that I was given a card to call that person, or to go to another office,with this insulting treatment I would never take my business there or go back!!

Horrible. I literally saw the doctor for about 5 minutes. The tech did everything. Dr came at end and as soon as he found out I wasn't interested in LASIK he was out of there. When I had a question he referred me to the eyeglass lady. Prescription ended up being incorrect for my eyes and I had to go back to get it corrected

This was my first visit and the staff was very nice and professional, even though I was late for my appointment. There was a long wait, but the waiting area was full, and since I was late, I am not sure if that affected my wait time. I was very impressed with Dr. Walman as he was thorough and had a great bedside manner!
