Jerry D’Aversa, OD, is a New York State licensed optometrist with a focus on medical eye care. Dr. D’Aversa completed his undergraduate studies at Manhattan College majoring in Psychology with cum laude honors. He received his professional Optometry degree from State University of New York College of Optometry with Beta Sigma Kappa honors.
Dr. D’Aversa specializes in pre and post-operative surgical co-management, emergency eye care, and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and ocular surface disease. Additionally, Dr. D’Aversa is able to provide specialty contact lens fittings to OCLI patients withunique corneal and refractive needs.
Dr. Jerry D’Aversa offers patient appointments at the Valley Stream office of Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island, and at our Manhattan - Upper East Side location.

Would not recommend this office or doctor at all. Do not explain anything to you and rip you off. Extremely rude and wasted a ton here. Do not recommend.
