I was billed by this Dr who claim he was in the network of GHI
Wait time was extremely long even though the waiting room was practically empty. Otherwise, the doctor and staff were helpful and polite.
I was very pleased with my first visit. I would recommend him to anyone who ask. Great office staff and technicians also.
My visit with Dr Parada was brief, but pleasant. He was quick, efficient, and thorough, and answered questions and concerns in a knowledgable, but understandable, manner. The staff at the office were also friendly an efficient.
I was very pleased. They were very professional and promptly took care of me. I will recommend them to my friends and family
Competent, friendly, attentive, thorough. Dr. Parada appears to have an excellent, caring team working alongside him.
Love Dr. Parada! He is very easy to talk to and happy to answer any questions. The patient is my 88 year old mother, who suffers from dementia. He was so good with her in making sure she understood everything regarding her vision. She has been his patient for many years and it was very important to me that he understood her comfort level was of utmost importance.
Office was clean, personal friendly, doctor was pleasant and direct and answered questions and concerns.
Professional and very thorough.
It was a pleasant visit. Very informational! I would certainly recommend Dr. Parada to others.
the front office was very dis-organized. I got there at 10:13 for my 10:30 AM APPT, signed in and was told to have a seat. ALMOST 30 minutes later she called me up to complete an update medical history form as well as some other papers! They both seemed to be very upset with the phones ringing and trying to help the patients.
Everyone I came in contact with were friendly, as well as professional. The technician who did my eye exam was wonderful and patient, helping me out with my overpowering reflex to close my eyes immediately when anything comes near them. Dr. Parada was sooo friendly and nice and thoroughly explained to me my diagnosis and upcoming surgery and answered all my questions. He spent a long time with me, and I never felt hurried....Great appointment in every way!
It was my second time visiting Dr Parada. He explained me very well about floaters and I left his office very relieved and satisfied.
Dr. Parada's staff was very efficient and personable. Dr. Parada himself did not seem very interested in me or what I had to say. He did not introduce himself, and he seemed to disregard my answers to most of his questions. I wear contacts but he did not discuss them with me at all. No one asked if I would like to schedule an appointment to be fitted for contacts or asked about writing a prescription for them. I was ushered in and out and on my way. My examination was thorough and complete, but the customer service aspect of my visit was very disappointing.
It was an excellent experience.
He's professional with a sense of humor. I like him enough to trust him to do my cataract surgery (which I was fairly sure I needed before Dr. Parada confirmed it.)
everyone was very warm and efficient. The doctor was excellent in explaining everything to me , and giving me choices. He has a great symbiotic relation with his staff.
Dr. Parada is very approachable, professional in patient relationship, knowledgeable and very efficient yet thorough in his examination / assessment. He was highly recommended to me by a friend and business colleague -- her recommendation was very accurate. He's excellent.
First time using Ziploc. Really like the service and the doctor was first class.
For this being my first time as a new patient, I thought he was a little unapproachable. I'd go back hoping for more interraction.
Dr. Parada was VERY knowledgeable and had excellent bedside manner. He was very informative in the appointment and was very nice. Highly recommend.
Es muy bueno encontrar un doctor que hable Español.
Back office assistants were pleasant and did a good job. Front office people were not very friendly. There was a very long wait in the exceptionally cold exam room (over 50 minutes) before Dr. Parada came in. Total time in the office was close to 2 hours. From a medical standpoint the visit was probably fine but it was neither pleasant or convenient to be kept waiting so long.
ZocDoc made the process of being a first time patient so easy! I really liked all the technicians, and the girl at the front desk was cheerful and friendly. Dr. Parada had a pleasant personality and made me feel at ease with the procedures. I will definitely be going back and so will my husband. :)
Dr Parada did not introduce himself to me - Was not friendly at all and was not a good listener. Would not recommend him.
He was great
excellent ansewed all my questions
The office is clean, the staff is friendly and the doctors aren't in a rush.
The staff and office were great. I did not have to wait long at all. Dr. Parada was very professional, kind and easy to talk to. He took his time to explain everything with me in detail. I would highly reccomend him.
Everything was great, Receptionist was great, Nurse who took me back was friendly and happy that I was there, but when I was done, nobody wanted to show me the glasses available at the office. Seems everyone was chatting, and they had to repeat my name several times from the front desk to the back to get me the prespection for my glasses. Was a bit unsure of the staff. Doctor Parada was great, friendly and professional. Enjoyed talking and seeing his brothers artwork...that's a great experience.
It went very well.
Very thorough. Interested in the health of the person in relationship to the eye.
He was nice. It was a rush job but it was ok.
If you make a appointment the intake receptionist should follow those appointments and not give preferential treatment to family, friends or whomever she deems more important than other.
He was very nice and informative..
My visit with Dr Parada must have been his last appointment. He did take care of my issue but I felt slighted as a patient. Rushed...even. I didn't receive much eye contact from him when discussing the PAINFUL procedure I needed to go through. I appreciate the help in my desperate need but more one on one would have been preferred and appreciated. He seemed over worked and as if he had to perform a lot of job duties outside of his normal role. Also, I will say some of the front desk staff is very RUDE and uncourteous.
He was very professional. Everything was quick and easy and his nurse/administrative staff was also top notch.
Dr Parada is an excellent doctor! I did not like the wait time though. There were like 10 people complaining about it.
U was very okease with my visit
He was very professional, attentive and had an excellent bedside manner. He also took what I had to say seriously without discounting any symptom or treating me just like another number. I will go to him from now on and he will be highly highly recommended.
Excellent...knowledgeable and caring
I will return for my eye exam next year. Very pleasant staff.
I was very pleased. He took his time and thouroughly checked my eyes. I will definitely be coming back for my next eye appointment. The previous place I use to go to didn't even give me a complete eye exam. I was refered to Dr. Parada by a work colleage and I am very happy with the exam.
Excellent visit, glad you were able to fit me into the schedule
Dr. Gerardo is great - I have already recommended him to a friend of mine. He is honest - my daughter has also seen him - and he doesn't recommend glasses or procedures if they are not necessary. The only problem is the wait time.
Dr Parada was wonderful however his nurse staff was not professional or helpful they treated my situation so terrible that I will not use this office again and I will not reccomend this office due to the attitude of his nurses.
Very good , he is every fine doctor
The doctor was ok but the office staff is so rude and difficult. We won't be back. This wasn't the first visit we have had problems with the staff. We will find an office that treats patients with respect and knows how to check benefits.
To diagnose floaters after cataract surgery with him 1-2012. He expained issue and gavenformation so ! could understand situation.
Great!! Told me info about my eyes no other doctor had told me before!
Very professional and explained everything that was going on. It was a very comfortable experience.
I took my daughter to see Dr. Parada, because I was so worried. He was very kind to my little girl and fully explained what he found. Everyone there was so good with her, she is only 4 and was very scared. Thank you everyone!!!
Professional and friendly!
Arrived at 8:15. Preliminary work done promptly. Saw doctor about 9:45. No explanation given.
