Love Dr. Parada! He is very easy to talk to and happy to answer any questions. The patient is my 88 year old mother, who suffers from dementia. He was so good with her in making sure she understood everything regarding her vision. She has been his patient for many years and it was very important to me that he understood her comfort level was of utmost importance.

Dr. Parada's staff was very efficient and personable. Dr. Parada himself did not seem very interested in me or what I had to say. He did not introduce himself, and he seemed to disregard my answers to most of his questions. I wear contacts but he did not discuss them with me at all. No one asked if I would like to schedule an appointment to be fitted for contacts or asked about writing a prescription for them. I was ushered in and out and on my way. My examination was thorough and complete, but the customer service aspect of my visit was very disappointing.
Verified patient
Professional and very thorough.
It was my second time visiting Dr Parada. He explained me very well about floaters and I left his office very relieved and satisfied.
Verified patient
Everyone I came in contact with were friendly, as well as professional. The technician who did my eye exam was wonderful and patient, helping me out with my overpowering reflex to close my eyes immediately when anything comes near them. Dr. Parada was sooo friendly and nice and thoroughly explained to me my diagnosis and upcoming surgery and answered all my questions. He spent a long time with me, and I never felt hurried....Great appointment in every way!
the front office was very dis-organized. I got there at 10:13 for my 10:30 AM APPT, signed in and was told to have a seat. ALMOST 30 minutes later she called me up to complete an update medical history form as well as some other papers! They both seemed to be very upset with the phones ringing and trying to help the patients.
He's professional with a sense of humor. I like him enough to trust him to do my cataract surgery (which I was fairly sure I needed before Dr. Parada confirmed it.)
Verified patient
It was an excellent experience.
Verified patient
everyone was very warm and efficient. The doctor was excellent in explaining everything to me , and giving me choices. He has a great symbiotic relation with his staff.
Verified patient
Dr. Parada is very approachable, professional in patient relationship, knowledgeable and very efficient yet thorough in his examination / assessment. He was highly recommended to me by a friend and business colleague -- her recommendation was very accurate. He's excellent.
Verified patient
For this being my first time as a new patient, I thought he was a little unapproachable. I'd go back hoping for more interraction.
Back office assistants were pleasant and did a good job. Front office people were not very friendly. There was a very long wait in the exceptionally cold exam room (over 50 minutes) before Dr. Parada came in. Total time in the office was close to 2 hours. From a medical standpoint the visit was probably fine but it was neither pleasant or convenient to be kept waiting so long.

He was great
Verified patient
Dr. Parada was VERY knowledgeable and had excellent bedside manner. He was very informative in the appointment and was very nice. Highly recommend.
ZocDoc made the process of being a first time patient so easy! I really liked all the technicians, and the girl at the front desk was cheerful and friendly. Dr. Parada had a pleasant personality and made me feel at ease with the procedures. I will definitely be going back and so will my husband. :)
Verified patient
Everything was great, Receptionist was great, Nurse who took me back was friendly and happy that I was there, but when I was done, nobody wanted to show me the glasses available at the office. Seems everyone was chatting, and they had to repeat my name several times from the front desk to the back to get me the prespection for my glasses. Was a bit unsure of the staff. Doctor Parada was great, friendly and professional. Enjoyed talking and seeing his brothers artwork...that's a great experience.

He was nice. It was a rush job but it was ok.
Dr. Gerardo is great - I have already recommended him to a friend of mine. He is honest - my daughter has also seen him - and he doesn't recommend glasses or procedures if they are not necessary. The only problem is the wait time.
