Like many of you, Dr Geronimo Rodriguez is an immigrant as well. He is originally from Peru. In Lima Peru, Dr.. Rodriguez graduated from nursing school earning his RN and anesthetist license. Some time later, he decided to migrate to Mexico to further his studies. Once there, Dr Rodriguez graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara Medical School. Some time after he graduated from Medical School, Dr Rodriguez moved to California. Here, he passed the medical board test and completed his residency in OB-GYN at California Hospital Medical Center, which is affiliated to USC Medical School. After Dr Geronimo Rodriguez completed his residency in 1984, he started his private practice in the city of Pasadena. There, he was able to obtain practice privileges at Huntington Memorial Hospital where he has been an active medical staff for 29 years. Also, he has practice privileges at California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, St. Vincent Hospital in Los Angeles, and Monterrey Park Hospital in Monterrey Park.
Dr Geronimo Rodriguez was a past president of Peruvian American Medical Society (PAMS) and is a current active member. His passion is to go to medical missions. He has been mainly to the Andes and the underserved cities in Peru to help medically and surgically to those people that do not have any means to see a doctor or to have a GYN specialist. PAMS as an organization goes to those areas and operates for free.

The office was very clean and nice and the staff were wonderful, including Dr Rodriquez. They took the time to explain insurance and to make extra sure that I was comfortable. I felt that they were nice, but I felt that the explanation of my diagnosis was a little hard to understand and so I was confused and a little worried. I would have appreciated Dr. Rodriguez giving more options as to how to go forward with the diagnosis. However, I really felt that they cared about me and would recommend for anyone looking for a thorough doctor that will have time to talk to you.

The doctor is very confident, he took time to explain my problems, and was very meticulous doing my check up. He educates and explains what options of treatment should I take.
I will highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez for those who their first language is Spanish, because you will fill more relaxed and confident. The staff is very friendly.

Dr. Rodriguez is extremely thorough and professional. He always takes his time to discuss any and all medical issues I may be having. I dread the day that he retires. I also want to add that the office staff is extremely helpful and friendly
