I wish the copy of the insurance card and my ID were printable by the office from ZOCDOC, it would also be good if the rest of the documentation they needed could've been done through zocdoc. I REALLY enjoyed having the option to do all of the documents via zocdoc before I came in. Appt was started late. everyone was nice and apologized.
He jelled at me and was verbally abusing making non sense statements. I went to him for a dermatitis and he deny any tests to verify the origin but mostly he deny the courtesy to be polite and just write a simple blood test I asked to see my vit c vit e and copper zinc levels. He reply with a nonsense statement: your family Doctor can test gold silver and the rest of it! Excuse me? Did you read the medical records I brought? My doctor is in Beverly Hills that is why I have to ask you for test. What an illiterate. The girl at the front desk told me he prescribed a lip balm and when I read the ingredients it had mineral oil and petroleum jelly! What kind of dermatologist prescribe known toxic substances because the body can not metabolized. I came from a medical trained family and this person should be expelled from the medical board.
Nice doctor.Doesn't upsell.
I came to Dr. Henry for adult acne. He was amazing, listened to my concerns, remained very professional and educated, & was straight to the point. I highly recommend Dr. Henry if you enjoy don't enjoy spending your days in doctors offices! Great experience overall.
No problems. Would go back again.
I enjoyed it, he was professional and addressed my concerns without wasting time. I felt listened to and he was knowledgable, informative. Office staff was warm and inviting and even gave my son a sticker. It was embarrassing to leave at the end as they spoiled him and he didn't want to leave and expressed that by crying and clinging to the nurses.
Fast and very nice!
Dr. Henry and his staff are always professional and willing to find offer the best course of treatment.
I went in for a checkup and Dr. Henry spent about 5 minutes with me then sent me on my way. I understand and appreciate that my skin was fine, but I was hoping to get a little more service. Definitely would not recommend him.
I saw Dr. Henry 8 days ago where he spent less than 2 minutes with me. He diagnosed that I had Tinea Pedis and prescribed a very expensive prescription ointment. I applied the ointment for 8 days with little or no results and the rash has continued to spread. I made another appointment which I went to today Dr. Henry now announced that he "thinks" I have Lichen Planus. He took a biopsy of both my feet (where the rash is most prevalent) and said that the results would be back in 10 days. He then prescribed another ointment, this ointment is the same as the first with one less ingredient. the second visit lasted a total of 4 minutes. When I asked questions he said that he could not answer until the lab results were returned. I am very disappointed with the level of professionalism and medical treatment.
Dr. seems a bit awkward, but what highly intelligent person isn't, office staff is incredibly friendly. I have noticed though the earlier you go in the nicer the bed side manner, after a long day they don't get rude but seem almost too tired.
Receptionists were terrible. Window was closed no one ever welcomed me in to sign in.
Doctor and staff were friendly and efficient.
The wait took forever. They claimed to be "understaffed". Why schedule so many appointments if you're understaffed? I waited well over an hour for a 5 minute appointment.
Dr. Henry was wonderful
Completely satisfied. I felt that Dr. Henry was very knowledgeable and diagnosed my condition correctly.
The admins were not friendly and hid behind a glass window, very impersonal. He did not read my file before coming in the room. The nurse was also was present during the exam which I found to be uncomfortable. I only came here because he had same day availablity. I told him my symptoms and circumstances and didn't listen to what I was saying. On top of that they do not have electronic billing! When I asked to have my bill emailed they said that was not possible. There are too many other dermatologist in the area to go here.
He does not care about your imput. Always in a rush. Does not give you the time of day. One or two word answers. This guy is terrible. On top of that he didn't fix my problem.
Dr Henry was very professional, courteous, and respectful. He listened well and made me feel very comfortable.
The nurses were not very friendly with me. They were very friendly with the elderly patients before me though.
He is fantastic. This was my first visit and he was polite and knowledgable and spent the perfect amount of time with me. 5 stars for sure.
Visit with the doctor was great. Very professional and informative. Would have liked to be seen on time but otherwise an excellent visit
I'm a first time patient of Dr. Henry, and have been to so many dermatologists over the years the I've lost count. He didn't try to sell me anything or try to squeeze extra visits out me. Dr. Henry looked at me face and my long history of failed treatment, and offered me a cure. This is after being told there wasn't one. He and his nurse answered my questions without sugar coating anything. I hope this works. I've had acne almost my whole life, constantly.
Dr. Henry runs a very quick, efficient office. I've been there a few times and have not spent more than a grand total of ten minutes with him, but his treatments seem to work fine. If I had any constructive criticism, it would be to address the friendliness of the staff. If the doctor is short, fine. If everyone else also seems to have very little time for the patient too, then it makes the experience less than stellar.
Dr. Henry and his staff were very friendly and professional. My appointment was for my annual skin cancer screening. The doctor also took the time to explain why I needed to be extra careful sun exposure due to my family history of melanoma. He showed me what to look for when checking for skin cancer. He also removed a mole from my hand and he was so fast and efficient, it was painless!
Dr. Henry himself was very nice, but our actual visit was short. I waited in the lobby for around 30-40 minutes, and in my room about 10 minutes. I met with a nurse/assistant briefly, and the doctor came in shortly after. Dr. Henry asked some quick, direct questions to determine what he wanted to try, but not much else. Hopefully this is just a sign of a doctor that's just very experienced in his field, and not of one hurrying through patients. He was very nice, I want to reiterate, and gave me a variety of samples to try as a base start for resolving my skin issues. I look forward to seeing his treatments as I use them. I will still be going back, as his office was busy, he must know a bit about what he's doing!
He was very kind and accommodating. He provided me with assistance and didn't charge me for part of what he did.
Overall- really disappointed. I was really excited after reading all of the good reviews, so I made an appointment for my mild case of acne. I waited for about 30 minutes in the waiting room, and then another 15 once I was called back. When the doctor did come, he briefly looked at my face and told me that he was going to have me try different samples. When I asked what kind of acne I had, he was unable to answer. I had a notepad next to me of questions which he clearly saw, but didn't even give me the time to ask. He stayed with me for a total of about 2 minutes, before prescribing me some facial wash that was conveniently only sold in his office, and telling me to make a follow up appointment. He wasn't rude, but just didn't seem like he genuinely cared about his patients nor up to date on acne treatments.
Very nice staff!
The receptionist was very friendly took my information, advised me of wait time. I sat down for a few minutes and was called right in. Doctor Henry came right in and saw me, sent prescription to pharmacy and I was on my way. Fast, Friendly, Efficient!
It was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and efficient, and so was the doctor. He was super quick, but he answered all my questions. I was worried that I would have a long wait, but I got there a few minutes early and got my paperwork done, and ended up getting called in right at my appointment time.
nurses were not friendly but he was great
they told me to be there have an hour early then i waited for long time . that was so bad
Helpful staff. Convenient location.
Great! staff was efficient as was Dr Henry. The minor procedure I had was faster than filling out the paperwork. Very satisfied.
very professional, informative and answerd my questions, all in all was a good experience
He was personable and explained things when I asked him. He made me feel comfortable.
Everything about the visit was very professional from the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out!
Little rushed, but nowadays thats to be expected. He did cover everything and ask what concerns I had.
Staff was friendly and eased my nervousness. Dr Henry was pleasant, calming, and answered all my questions. I waited about 10 minutes for my appointment to start. The entire exam (full body check) was done on 5 minutes. I would definitely see him again.
Overall, it was pretty great. Dr. Henry himself was very thorough, thoughtful, and kind. He was quick and the visit felt just a tad bit rushed, but overall it was very pleasant. He performed a thorough exam and listened to me carefully, and quickly provided precise diagnoses of my problems. His computerized system zapped the prescriptions he wrote for me straight to my pharmacy and the pharmacy texted me about 30 minutes later, saying they're ready for pickup. Not too shabby! He also made sure I follow up with him in two weeks to make sure the prescriptions work. The MA who checked me in was pleasant and friendly. The scheduling lady was just okay - a little "snippy".
Dr. Henry is smart, and very professional. He is thorough in his examinations and won't leave until all of your questions are answered.
He was not very thorough and just wanted to get me out of there as quickly as possible.
Waited awhile, that's normal in many cases, only spent probably 5-7 with me. That was disappointing, as well as there being dried blood on the examination table, which seemed not be sterile... Doctor seemed more than competent though, just wanted a little bit more interaction.
Good experience. No nonsense, did a biopsy on a spot on my head.
I thought he was a nice enough doctor. His staff was not very cordial, but they were working and busy. I had to wait an hour to see the doctor and I had even downloaded and filled out all the paperwork ahead of time.
Great doctor, he was able to totally resolve my excema problems within 48 hours of my visit. Highly recommended!
Was great! He was professional, personable, efficient and quick!!
Very professional and nice
I was incredibly disappointed with Dr. Gerrit Henry. I was a new patient, and I would never go see him again. He was incredibly rude and treated me like I was an idiot. He almost refused to answer my questions, and when he did, they were hasty remarks, as if I was an idiot. I would never recommend anyone to go see him, and I would never go back to him even in an emergency.
true Pro,, nice guy
I was initially very satisfied getting an appointment so fast with this Dr. The front desk staff could have been a bit more welcoming. The woman at the front kept closing the glass window in my face. She also made me feel like I didn't even have an appointment when I got there. The doctor was nice and polite. He used a ruler to make some scratches on my back. I felt that was kind of weird. Does he use that ruler on other people???
O.K. Visit was very quick, yet professional.
great doctor - i waited for over an hour first thing in the morning which was atrocious, but dr. henry was fabulous!
We are from out of state and found Dr. Henry online and made an appointment on Zocdoc. Dr. Henry is very friendly, with good bedside manner. We made a good choice going to him...
Very informative and gave me the answers I was looking for. He removed 2 of my moles and I am going back for melasma treatment in a few months
I got some good information about how to treat my acne. Hopefully the products work :)
Very good, Highly recommended.
Took a cursory look at me and charged me a ridiculous fee.
it was good. The only negative is the staff had 3 women at the front desk, and nobody said hi when we checked in.
The office did not have my appointment in their book even though I received 2 confirmations from ZocDoc. They did agree to see me however and were moderately cordial. The doctor himself was an asshole. He basically wouldn't listen to anything I had to say about my condition and I felt so attacked I began to cry. After I started crying I could tell he felt bad and finally he did listen to me to an extent. But I left feeling incredibly discouraged.
Dr. Henry and his staff were fantastic. Easy to book appointment, got right in to see Dr. Henry, and treatment worked. I was very happy with my visit from start to finish.
Dr. Gerrit Henry was very kind and personable. He seemed confident with my diagnosis and answered all my questions.
