Dr. Ghazala Abuazza earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Tripoli Faculty of Medicine and completed her postgraduate training in pediatrics at Al-Fateh University Medical Sciences in Tripoli, Libya. She then completed her Pediatrics residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and her fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Abuazza has extensive academic experience, including her time as an assistant professor and pediatric nephrology consultant in the Hypertension and Renal Transplantation Division at the University of Kentucky, where she treated disorders affecting the kidneys and urinary tract. In addition to her academic experience, she has worked in general pediatric primary care in various settings and in pediatric urgent care at Night Light Pediatric Urgent Care before joining Kelsey-Seybold in 2015.
Dr. Abuazza has special training and interest in bedwetting, dysfunctional elimination (bladder and bowel dysfunction), recurrent urinary tract infections, and other kidney diseases.
