Dr. Moussaide is a native of Maryland, having grown up in Columbia, MD. She completed her residency and fellowship at the Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA. During her third year of medical school, she developed a special interest in the pathophysiology and diseases of the digestive tract and decided to specialize in gastroenterology. Dr. Moussaide is a general gastroenterologist able to treat patients with common digestive disorders, such as heartburn, to the more complex diseases of the pancreas, bile ducts, and gallbladder. She performs diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy and has training in advanced procedures such as ERCP.
Dr. Moussaide enjoys interacting with her patients and believes in treating the whole patient, not just the disease. She has a special interest in addressing the unmet medical needs of women in the community and is looking forward to developing life long relationships. Actively involving her patients in their care is very important to her. Her goal is to make sure all her patients' questions are answered and that everyone is on the same page and in agreement with treatment plans. In addition to speaking English, Dr. Moussaide is conversational in Spanish and is fluent in French and Arabic.
Dr. Moussaide resides in Howard County and will see patients in the Catonsville office.
