medical community since 1977. He is board certified and on
the staff of many area hospitals. He is a valued teacher and
is involved in the training of new physicians to pass on his
knowledge to the next generation. He is a Clinical Preceptor
for medical residents and students at various medical training
programs and hospitals.
Dr. Shamas is proficient in the management of all areas of
women’s health care, from adolescence to menopause. He
has a special interest in urogynecology and incontinence. In
addition to routine gynecological surgery, he is skilled in
laparoscopic and robotic-assisted laser surgery.
His focus has always been and, continues to be, providing the
best possible care for his patients in a loving environment.
