This office was supposed to be the closest to me that was in network but got there and its not. They should keep their zocdoc updated as I wasted money on travel and paid for services my insurance would have covered. But with the pandemic, everyone is booked.

I found out when I got there that they did not accept my insurance for *eye exams*. They were listed on ZocDoc as accepting my insurance, but it turns out that only applies to *glasses purchases*. I appreciated that they have no cancellation fees, and they were very apologetic, but I wish they found a way to make their policies clear on ZocDoc (I also wish ZocDoc were easier for providers to use).
If you book an appointment at Optical Warehouse through ZocDoc, you should call their office to verify that they actually accept your insurance.

Dr DeBenedetto was friendly and professional. She asked me about my medical history and listened to my concerns and what I wanted to accomplish with my appointment. She was one of the few optometrists that accepted my insurance and it was near my job, so it was very convenient for me to get to. I left my appointment a little disappointed because she said she could not perform a test that I needed because my insurance didn't cover it. She told me that I needed to unfortunately play the insurance game- and "find a doctor who takes my insurance" so that i could get the test. She didn't give me any follow up appointment or tell me when I should come back.

My insurance was in-network but instead of my normal copay they wanted to charge way over the correct amount for a regular eye exam. They also tried to pressure me into buying eyeglasses with them by saying I would lose my insurance stipend if I didn't purchase during the appointment. Very sketchy, would not go back.

I have Eyemed insurance and this doctor listed here as in-network. When I showed up they pretended to be in network but instead of the in-network co-payment they asked for something fifteen times the amount and told me some weird justification for the cost because I would get free trial contacts. Incredibly unprofessional, dishonest and generally sketchy.

The store is big and clean the first thing that I notices - the staff was profesional and curtios. Dr Gina was super friendly and polite. The service is beyond what I'm used to. Love it love it. Also great selection of frame for all.
