Dr. Amato had and excellent bedside manner from the moment I first spoke with her on the phone. She was extremely comforting and reassuring. I was especially impressed by her availability at all points - she made herself available to us at all hours, offered to meet us in the office, ER if needed and checked in via phone throughout the weekend. Definitely the best care you'll get!

Developmental Pediatrics including Developmental screening and Developmental assessments, play therapy, school consultation, behavior management and general pediatrics. I also provide the medical home for special needs children many of whom have Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder and other developmental delays and disorders. I also provide the medical home for special needs children who have many chronic medical diseases and disorders such as Epilepsy, Immune disorders, chronic resperatory diseases and many other pediatric special needs. I also work with preemies after they are discharged from the NICU where I provide routine developmental screening every several months, comprehensive developmental assessments and follow up to all preemies as I am a certified Early Intervention pediatrician providing close developmental monitoring and follow up along with facilitating any services such as OT, PT, Special Instruction, etc if needed.
