I really enjoy Dr. Gil. He is incredibly personable and I found him after searching for LGBT friendly doctors which was very important to me. His bedside manner is great, easy to talk to, personable, and all around very helpful care. I just recently found out he left HP Medical though! I can't find any information about where he is working now and I would really love to stay on as a patient with Dr. Gil if he is still working in Brooklyn. Hopefully he will see this or something...I didn't choose HP Medical because it was HP Medical, I chose Dr. Gil specifically!

I had a tele-health visit. I appreciate how the Dr took the time to listen to me. I felt very confident in his advice and management. He promptly reached out when I sent the office a message and he also sent my antibiotics immediately to the pharmacy. He is very understanding and knowledgeable and makes the effort to help you to understand your situation. Would recommend.

Really appreciated Dr. Gil and his team. I arrived, filled out my first time paper work, and was seen by an assistant/ nurse within 15 minutes of arrival. Then, Dr. Gil came in for my evaluation. Dr. Gil was very knowledgable and kind. He was able to suggest a diagnosis and was very patient in explaining his assessment and next steps. Thank you.

While the doctor himself seemed fine, I was extremely disappointed in the time it took for me to be seen. I booked the first appointment of the day, arrived on time, and was the first patient in the waiting room. I filled out the questionnaire online and was disappointed to find that I had to fill info out AGAIN bc they had not updated the forms on zocdoc. It was an hour before the doctor saw me. The woman who took my vitals didn’t seem to know what she was doing and needed assistance in taking my blood pressure and entering information into the computer, which I normally would have been understanding about bc she seemed to still be in training, but after waiting an insane amount before being seen, the clock was ticking... it made me late for work even though I should have had no problem getting in on time. I would have booked a follow-up appt with them, but I don’t patronize businesses that don’t respect my time.

Great doctor, kind and patient. Made a sincere effort to understand what was wrong with me and recommend prescription and over the counter remedies.
The office has onsite lab work witch is a huge plus — although the staff seems a bit inexperienced and one staff member in particular, struggled with equipment for drawing blood from me, resulting in a bruise that’s lingered for a few days now. The office is nothing spectacular to look at and seems due for a renovation. The wait time wasn’t too bad, between 30-60 mins on a Saturday.
All this aside, the interaction with the doctor was pleasant and I feel like the visit overall was successful.

The staff was overwhelmed, didn't remember my name after repeatedly telling them what it was, wait was over an hour and above all. They FORGOT to send my prescription to my pharmacy. So here I am in need of meds, without any... horrible experience.
