Dr. Giselle Torres obtained her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Brown University. She then received her medical training at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and was appointed to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she had extensive training in high risk obstetrics, ultrasound and general gynecology, including minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Torres received several recognitions during her residency including the Sue K. Sayegh Resident as Teacher Award and Best Resident Research Project for her study on adnexal masses in pregnancy.
Dr. Torres is a member of Physicians for Peace, an organization that has allowed her to travel as an International Medical Educator and pursue her commitment to volunteer work. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Torres is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish fluently. She enjoys the beach, yoga, tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
