Dr. Kolansky completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Kolansky continued his training with a two-year fellowship at the University of Iowa, which included Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Dermatologic Surgery, Laser Surgery, and Reconstruction.
Dr. Kolansky has conducted research and published within the field of dermatology. Some of his articles have appeared in The Journal of The American Academy of Dermatology, Current Clinical Cases in Dermatology, and Archives of Dermatology.
He has volunteered for the American Cancer Society providing lectures and skin cancer screenings. Dr. Kolansky has received the "Physician of Hope Award" presented by the American Cancer Society and has lectured at local and at national meetings. Dr. Kolansky treats patients 12 years of age or older.

My experience with Dr. Kolansky was great! I was able to get an appointment extremely fast and when I got to my appointment everything was straight to the point. From the moment I got to the office to the time I left it only took 45 minutes, including filling out new patient information. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

I have seen Dr. K. at least once a year for many years. The office has improved a lot over the years. They are much more efficient and friendly. Dr. K. is fast, but thorough and knowledgeable. He is willing to listen and answer any questions that you may have.

Front staff was great. The doctor was less thorough than I would have expected for a first time patient. It was a very rushed visit. He never addressed one of my issues. I found him uncaring. They never called in my prescription to my pharmacy and I was leaving for vacation the next day, needles to say, without my prescription.
I will not be returning . Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

I requested an appt online on a Tueday morning. By Tuesday afternoon my appt was confirmed for the following day! Arrived at 930 for a consult, by 954 I was walking out, post in office procedure. AMAZING!!! I work for a Drs office and cannot Express how much of an ease Dr Kolansky's office was compared to my own!
