Dr. Sharon is a board certified allergist-immunologist trained in the treatment of adult and pediatric patients. He was trained at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago. He has practiced for 22 years in the midwest. He uses a variety of treatments i.e. allergy avoidance, education, medications, nutritional consulting, dietary supplements and a holistic approach to help patients overcome their illnesses. He has practiced Allergy/Immunology, in both multi-specialty and single-specialty practice. He is involved in drug allergy, asthma treatment, psychoneuroimmunobiology, and has worked with Lymes disease, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and addictive medicine patients in the past. Dr.Sharon, is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Medical Staff at Adventist/Glen Oaks Hospital. He is an associate clinical Professor of Medicine at Midwestern University Medical School in Lisle, Illinois. Dr. Sharon is also on the Pharmacy and Therapuetics Committee at Central DuPage Hospital and recent past President of the Illinois Society of Allergy. Currently he is interested in the modernization of medicine and has worked toward electronic medical records, electronic search engines, and installation of access to these services at the bedside and in the office. He has also been a pioneer in community asthma screening programs and has screened over 2000 children and adults in the past. For the past 8 years he has been a member of the local school boards Medical Advisory Committee and is committed to community outreach programs.
