I was very impressed with Dr. Harvey.  He actually took the time to talk to me and gave me some good info about my injury.  I have nothing but good things to say about him.  He is a good man and came across as a compassionate person.  -I appreciate that.  However, I have not been able to bring myself to go back for my follow up, because of his front desk staff.  As one has to get past them, to see him, and for me, I don't know that it is worth it.  They were so incredibly rude and hateful, that I actually wanted to leave before I even saw the doctor.  I made him aware of this, as well as the reasons why I wanted to leave. (I reported it to my insurance company as well and they were appalled).  I also had a witness.  Dr. Harvey was quite receptive and says he hears these same complaints every day.  So why do these people still have a job?  If people are coming to this office, it is because they are injured or in pain.  It is unacceptable to treat people in the manner in which I was treated.  Some kindness and sensitivity training are seriously in order.  I also had a brace placed on my wrist that I was told my insurance would paid for.  I was told this was verified.  Twice.    (Because I would have bought the brace elsewhere if it were not).  My insurance company never heard from them and the brace was not covered.  Yet another surprise.  There were several issues I haven't been able to get past yet.  I'm not sure where to go from here?  I rarely, if ever, go to the doctor.  I have to be in a lot of pain in order to go.  I wish this visit would have gone differently. It sort of reinforced why I don't normally go to the doctor.
Dr. Harvey is in such great demand that he becomes way overbooked. The price you pay for demanding the best.

I really like Dr. Harvey. However, he is let down by his staff. I had spoken to his staff numerous times about a medication the doctor had described. From October to March I tried to get the medicaion through his staff until I finally gave up. I like Dr. Harvey. I trust Dr. Harvey. I just can't deal with his staff anymore.

He came across as knowledgeable and honest.

He was great. Love him!!!

I didn't mind the wait because i understood his Friday patients had been moved up to Thursday. It was good to hear so many positive comments from his other patients. This really helped me to relax since this was my first visit. Right away, Dr. Harvey addressed my pain and gave me my options. I really like his quiet mannerisms and I was so impressed to see his 'top doctor' awards. I truly believe that I have found the doctor that will understand my concerns about my knees and I love his use of laymen terms to help me understand. I hope to become a lifetime patient of his. :-)

He is a good doctor, but his bedside attention and manners have gone down. He performed two surgeries on my knee, and he did a great job, but he didn't seem to care much for the patient after the procedures.

He's great!
Wasn't a bad experience.

The wait was very long - an hour until I was taken to the back and then about another 30 minutes before the doctor came in. But once he was there I was very pleased with him.
Dr. Harvey seemed knowledgeable and provided some good information re my shoulder issue. The only downside was the wait time was 1 hour and 50 minutes. My appointment was at 10:30am and I saw the doctor between 12:20 and 12:25. The time is accurate because I was concerned about being late for another engagement and kept looking at my watch. I remember the waiting room was full and I was the final patient seen before lunch. Although Dr. Harvey appears to be an excellent doctor, he seemed a bit hurried. By 12:30 we were both anxious to get to lunch. My only concern is that he may have a bit too heavy a case load; or at least that was my impression on the day of my appointment.

Dr. Harvey has performed shoulder and knee surgeries on me before this visit. He has shown nothing but professionalism, knowledge and excellent verbal communication at every visit. However, there were a couple of visits (including this visit) where I felt a little rushed. Other than that, no complaint.
Overall visit was great, intern Md put my daughter to ease with humor, which was helpful due to her having a broken arm and being apprehensive about treatment. Also enjoyed being able to get an appointment in a timely matter with Zoc Doc. Thanks!
